Our training partner and primary instructor is Michael Spaulding, CISSP. He is a tenured
information security professional and practitioner. He currently works as a senior security
consultant for a Fortune 500 financial institution. His previous work experience at
companies such as VeriSign, Metro Information Services, and Andersen Consulting
has afforded him the opportunity to work with several hundred different companies.
Michael has in-depth expertise in several different areas of keen interest to the security
community which include: Wireless Security, PKI, Firewalls, Application Security, and Security
Policy Development. His work has supported various government agencies and Fortune
500 firms in his career. He has gone on to speak at national and international conferences
relating to information security. Michael is a member of ISSA, ISACA, and CSI. Michael Spaulding
earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and is currently completing his MBA.
